AXA, Healthcare Cluster in Cairo, Egypt.

World Health Management has been appointed by AXA Africa Healthcare as a strategic consultant to create a healthcare network in Egypt. Initially, the project includes three healthcare clusters in Cairo, comprising medical and diagnostic facilities, to later roll the project out in other major Egyptian cities (expected 2019-20)

Egypt is a country with a population of approximately 80 million inhabitants, boosting a dynamic economy where Cairo is referent as its main megapolis.

The aim of this project is to develop a proprietary network  of  primary   and secondary  care  facilities  to  improve  AXA customers´ journey by offering high quality services and healthcare infrastructure,  responding to the current healthcare demand. Beyond this first phase, the ambition is to create a wider network in order to cover local demand. 

The first phase of the project comprises three clusters including eight centres each, two diagnostic facilities and six medical centres. 

World Health Management role, as a specialized strategic healthcare and technical consultant,  includes the following services amongst others:

  • Strategic definition of the healthcare model
  • Functional Plan
  • Equipment Plan
  • Human Resources Plan and Training Plan
  • Coordination  to Infrastructure Design
  • Project Management and Project Monitoring
  • IT consultancy (e-Health Systems )
