He has also served as CEO of a biotechnology R&D laboratory based in Switzerland, leading several postbiotic projects and clinical trials.

In terms of corporate governance, he has been a board member of hospital management and biotechnology companies. He is currently a board member and chairman of the audit committee of a company listed on BME Growth. He also serves as a board member and advisory committee member for several privately held companies in the biotechnology and energy (storage) sectors.
