PROYECTO VITALES - MANAGEMENT OF THE PATIENT WITH SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS

Project Vitales is a multidisciplinary initiative to improve the management of systemic lupus erythematosus.

Experts agree that quality of life, disease activity control and disease burden should be assessed as unified parameters in the measurement of the disease.

NEOM HOSPITAL - SAUDI ARABIA

Neom Hospital is built on the Gulf of Aqaba by the Saudi government as part of the NEOM project. It offers a wide range of medical services in various specialties and is equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.

WHM has contributed its experience and expertise by advising on the design of spaces and equipment and supporting the architectural and engineering team in the development of technical projects for this innovative hospital.

AMPHOS - THE CARE WE WANT IN 2025

More than 200 agents from the NHS took part in this edition of AMPHOS. Throughout more than 25 virtual workshops and with the methodological support of WHM (World Health Management), a space for reflection and collaborative work was created.

As a result of all this work, more than fifty recommendations have been drawn up, structured into thirteen strategic lines that constitute a real “road map” to achieve the ambitious objective of this 7th edition: to define together what the healthcare we want should be like and what we should change, stop doing, create or improve, in order to take the steps that will lead us to achieve it.

INTRAVITREAL THERAPY UNIT - CLINICAL CONSENSUS

This document is part of the project ‘New Care Model for Intravitreal Therapy’, developed by a group of expert ophthalmologists in retina and vitreous, members of the Spanish Society of Retina and Vitreous (SERV) and the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology (SEO), in collaboration with Novartis and under the coordination of World Health Management (WHM).

INTRAVITREAL THERAPY UNIT - QUALITY CARE STANDARDS

The Spanish Society for Quality of Care together with the Spanish Retina and Vitreous Society (SERV) are launching the UTI standard, a new certification standard this time aimed at intravitreal therapy units.

IVTUs that adhere to this process will be eligible for three different levels of certification (basic, advanced or excellent) according to compliance with the 30 criteria/indicators that make up the standard.  This standard has been developed with the sponsorship of Novartis and the coordination of WHM.

LATORRE- SORIA HOSPITAL

WHM has accompanied the Latorre Hospital from the design and construction phase until its start-up. Specifically, WHM has advised and assisted in obtaining permits. Optimal use of space.  Clinical and non-clinical equipment/material plan. Room by room analysis. Elaboration of clinical, administrative and general services procedures and protocols. Advice on personnel management/selection (HR). Agreements with healthcare companies and agreements with external medical professionals.

AMPHOS- MEASURING FOR IMPROVEMENT IN RHEUMATOLOGY 2020

A group of Spanish healthcare professionals and patient representatives, together with the Spanish Society of Rheumatology and with its scientific backing, have decided to reach a consensus for Spain on the sets of indicators for measuring health outcomes in their specialty. The general objective of the AMPHOS project, Measuring for Improvement in Rheumatology, can be defined as a “New model of rheumatology care based on health outcomes”.

SERGAS - INTEGRATED CARE PROCESS FOR C VIRUS HEPATITIS C FOR THE HEALTH CARE AREA OF A CORUÑA AND CEE

The Hepatitis C Integrated Care Process (PAIHC) is an example of innovative care and multidisciplinary management of a health problem, the Hepatitis C virus infection with a great impact on health care and social and health care. A group of primary care and hospital professionals involved in the care of hepatitis C virus hepatitis, have developed this process with the support of WHM coordination.

SERMAS - MANUAL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GOOD PRACTICES

As an application of the AMPHOS project, Continuity of Care, the project “Map of replication of good practices of the SERMAS” was launched. SERMAS best practices replication map. This guide includes the phases of the process, the physical and and human resources, the relationships that must exist between them, the responsibilities responsibilities and the time required for each action, providing the organizations with a action, providing the organizations with a road map with the steps to follow to steps to follow to replicate and implement any BBPP.

A group of managers and professionals from SERMAS have developed this roadmap with the methodological support of the SERMAS. this roadmap with the methodological support of WHM.

SERGAS - INTEGRATED CARE PROCESS FOR CARDIAC INSUFFICIENCY IN THE HEALTH CARE AREA OF A CORUÑA AND CEE

This care process has been developed by a multidisciplinary group of professionals in the health area of A Coruña-CEE.

It establishes the organization of a care system for patients with heart failure, involving the patient and his or her caregivers, doctors and nurses from Primary Care with the support of Hospital Care.

AMPHOS - CONTINUITY OF CARE IMPROVING THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE

Continuity of care is one of the key elements in the care of people beyond the level of care at which they may be treated. Thus, the 5th Edition of the AMPHOS Report, entitled ‘How to make continuity of care effective by improving the patient experience’, analyzed health care in primary care in order to improve it and proposed the changes that should be made to meet patients’ needs. This edition was promoted by SEDISA and AbbVie, with the collaboration of WHM (World Health Management).

Conceptual definition of the Health Network, of the Human Resources Plan health services and of the partnership strategy.

Coordination and development by WHM of the strategic approach, control of facility design, definition of health, technological and information services, as well as the human resources plan.
